3,166lbs of Trash Collected at one Cleanup!!!!

We collected an amazing 3,166lbs of litter Sept. 16th, from 8am-4pm at the Santa Ana River Marsh. And it's still extremely littered with trash

We collected an amazing 3,166lbs of litter Sept. 16th, from 8am-4pm at the Santa Ana River Marsh. And it's still extremely littered with trash . Nice work by all the NGO's that participated: Fairview Park Alliance, Sierra Club BRTF, Surfrider, BR Conservancy, ACO and Drains to Ocean. http://www.drainstoocean.org

One volunteer at the end of the days said we picked up around 30% of the trash out here. Most of the trash left out there are small stuff like bottle caps, straws and millions of pieces of styrofoam.
